Elisa would rather not talk about her past, as even though she didn't choose that life, she still is ashamed of it. The only one still alive to know of it is LilPearl, since her son was too young to remember her grueling recovery. People describe her as very patient and loving woman.
Compared to everyone else, she's probably the happiest in life.
As much as Greg was unplanned, he is the reason she changed her life. Even though there were times she couldn't take care of him because she was either studying for her GED or for her bachelor's, she still loves him very much.
Elisa nowadays is a baker and a business owner. As much as she doesn't do the accounting side and inventory tracking (Greg and LilPearl do that), she did most of the heavy lifting to get to started and to keep it afloat.
